Natal Chart and Your Chart Ruler

Imagine that someone looked to the sky and took a snapshot of the cosmos the moment you were born. That snapshot is reflected in your unique natal chart (aka birth chart). Your natal chart gives a reflection of your personality traits, life path, and stories meant to unfold for you in this lifetime. Your natal chart is the main imprint laid out for you, and the aspects of this chart will not change. However, the areas of life in which those planetary aspects are active can change with relocation. When we convert your chart to a global map, you can see the places these energies move through. This is Astrocartography (also called locational astrology).

Now, as I mentioned in the video, there are many apps and websites where you can get this information. There are also different types of astrology, but don't let that confuse you! You don't need to be an astrology guru; that's why you have folks like me to help you. :) However, it is good to know your own chart and to have a house system that you are comfortable with. This is also something to keep in mind when you are looking to work with an astrologer. Ask them what kind of astrology and house system they use if you prefer one over the other. For the record, I am an astrocartographer who practices traditional astrology using whole sign houses. But enough about me. Now that you know how to view your chart, let's find your chart ruler.
